ABNA24 - A senior Iranian cleric says the recent ‘Ramadan War’ has forever ended the myth of American military invincibility, hailing the Iranian people’s unity and the Resistance front’s growing power.
Speaking to worshippers in the city of Nahavand, Hojatoleslam Mohammadi said the enemy has been humiliated by the coordinated strength of Iran’s armed forces and the nation’s popular mobilization.
“The myth of America’s invincibility was brought to an end by the people of Islamic Iran during the Ramadan War,” the Friday prayer leader declared.
He praised the massive overnight gatherings in Nahavand as a clear sign of public support for the Islamic system, thanking all those who organized the rallies.
“The unity between the battlefield and the people has degraded the enemy. American and Zionist bases have come under powerful blows,” he added.
Mohammadi stated that Iran’s steadfastness has expanded global hatred for the US and the Zionist entity. “Thanks to God and the efforts of the Resistance front, humiliation and disgrace will increasingly be imposed on the enemies of Islam.”
Global economy shaken
The cleric noted that the global economy—and specifically the economies of Iran’s adversaries—has been disrupted by the Iranian nation’s resilience.
“We must thank the government for performing well under wartime conditions. No shortages have been felt in society,” he said.
He further remarked that US President Donald Trump has lost all credibility. “Even among his own people, Trump has become disgraced. His words carry no value today. He has become a laughingstock worldwide.”
Revived Resistance front
According to Mohammadi, the Ramadan War has led to the revival of the Axis of Resistance. “Today we see Hezbollah, Hashd al-Sha’abi, and Yemen’s Ansarullah present on the field with power, inflicting heavy blows on the enemy.”
He described the current national cohesion and unity as sacred and unprecedented. “Politics and political factions have faded before the people. Anyone who harms this national unity through words or actions is committing treason against the country.”
No ground incursion dare
The Nahavand imam issued a stark warning to adversaries: “The enemy knows that any aggression against our system will be met with overwhelming force. They do not dare attempt a ground incursion. But if they commit such folly, our armed forces will teach the Americans an unforgettable lesson in ground combat and turn the Persian Gulf into their graveyard.”
He concluded that Iran’s ground combat power has already been tested and proven over the past decades.
